The Joy Ride (6 and 15 mile) and Joy Run (10k) is a free event sponsored by McKinley County, celebrates the grand opening of a new eastern trailhead on the High Desert Trail system.

Schedule of Events:

7am - packet pickup begins

8am - 10k Running Race begins

9am - MTB Race begins - the Men's/Women's Open Category (15 mile loop) at 9am and the kids/beginners (6 mile loop) at 9:05am

12pm - Ribbon cutting for the new TH

12:15pm lunch is served

12:30pm awards

1pm-2pm festival wrap-up
